Jim's Home Page

Well, I have my own website, and I thought I would take a little space to put up some personal items about me for those who may be interested.  This will take some time, and I don't have a lot of spare time, so  I am going to put up is a page with some pictures of my son during his first semester of college - he went to Florida State University's London campus before transferring back to Tallahassee.  Then there are a couple of pages dedicated to my two nephews service in Iraq in 2005 with the Louisiana National Guard, 256 BCT.  When I was an officer in the 82nd Airborne Division, my sister came to visit, and the young kids went out to Sicily Drop Zone and watched a parachute jump. When I came home, both boys were jumping off the sofa screaming, "I want to be an Airborne Ranger!".

After they graduated, they both joined the National Guard.  They are now serving in Iraq, and I am proud of their service but always concerned for their safety.  In the linked page are a few pictures of Brandon and Michael in Iraq.  The ones of Brandon are from an actual combat operation with casualties taken by an embedded foreign journalist, and some may find them intense and disturbing.  I just solicit your prayers for all of our service people over there.

October 2005 Update: Both Brandon and Michael are back home in Louisiana.  Brandon is recovering nicely from some of his injuries.  Andrew is going to college in London, and plans to continue his overseas studies in Spain.
