Start: Roland Avenue and 37th Street
Course:  Downhill to Beech.  South on Beech to 33rd, east on 33rd to Remington to East on Wyman Park Drive.  Out and back on Wyman Park Drive to Remington to 33rd to north on Beech.
Finish: 36th and Beech
Post-race party / Awards Ceremony - Wyman Park
HonFest opens at 11:00 AM

Entry Fees: $20 pre-registered, $25 race day
Amenities: Water on the course, 1 mile split times, ten-year age groups, numerous random prizes.

Special award categories (May not be awarded if the judges decide that no one really meets the minimum accepted standards to compete in a category.  In that case, the award will convert to a random prize.  Also, the judges may decide to award an unsuspecting runner who unwittingly fits into that category without realizing it):
Best Hon Runner: Awarded to the runner, who in the subjective eye of the judges, best exemplifies the attributes of the legendary "Baltimore Hon".
Best Flamingo Runner: Awarded to the runner, who in the subjective eye of the judges, most resembles a running Pink Flamingo.

Directions

From Downtown: I-83 North to Exit 8A Falls Road.  Follow Falls Road through Hampden to 41st Street.  Right turn onto 41st, cross Roland Avenue, right turn on Elm and park in the back, lower parking lot of the Rotunda.

From the North: I-83 South to Exit 9A-9B Cold Spring Lane. Make a left off exit ramp onto Cold Spring and follow east up the hill to the traffic signal at Roland Ave/University Parkway.  Bear right on Roland at the traffic signal, then turn left onto 41st Street and right on Elm, park in the back, lower parking lot of the Rotunda.

From Charles Street: Going North turn left onto University Parkway then turn left onto 40th St. (across from the Carlyle at the Quality Inn Hotel). Then left onto Elm and park in the back, lower parking lot of the Rotunda.
